A graduate of Meadowbrook High School, Dawson also attended Muskingum Area Technical College (now known as Zane State College) and most recently graduated from Hondros Business College. She has an Ohio real estate license, an associate’s degree in business, is an Ohio Notary and ordained in the State of Ohio to perform wedding ceremonies. She has been involved with the Lore City Ladies and advocated for the dog park in the village. In the past, she has also served on the Lore City council and was the first woman mayor of Lore City. A career in real estate seemed an obvious choice for her as her parents have been in the housing business since the 1970s. She has seen all aspects of buying, renting and restoring real estate and with this new venture, she brings 13 years of oil and gas title experience to the table. She has two sons and a 20-pound Schnauzer named Clifford. Her hobbies include photography, which she says grants her the opportunity to share places and events with people. It also lets her showcase the best features of a house when listing it, she said. She spent 10 years working at the Guernsey County Home and says she enjoyed the residents and their families. 
